The dirt pile at the edge of clear cut woods near the boulders

The Dirt Pile

Near the Boulder fields, you can see where there is now a large clearing created in anticipation of future development, at the back of which is this "monument."

New roads coming through - forest traffic

This road clearing will bring traffic to the planned commercial development that will be adjacent to the boulder fields. The noise and the dumpsters are going to break the silence and serenity of the forest forever.
